At North Marsh Guide Co, fly fishing is more than just a passion; it's a lifelong pursuit. Captain Tony Janik has explored the backcountry waters of Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Amelia Island his whole life, and will use that knowledge to bring you the experience of a lifetime.

our mission...

...Is to give you the most amazing fly angling experience possible while sharing our knowledge of the backcountry waters of Northeast Florida. We will do our absolute best to guide you to sight-castable, hungry fish as part of that experience. As any veteran fly angler is well aware, however, occasionally there are days when the fish don't want to cooperate with us. This is part of the pursuit of fly fishing, but we will work as hard as possible to show you fish and give you shots.

We will be more than happy to work with you on casting/ retrieving techniques during the trip! Patience is critical to the sport of fly fishing, and we will pass along any technical knowledge that we have during our time on the water with you. We do ask, however, that you be able to comfortably/consistently cast 30-40 feet with minimal "false casting" before expecting to catch fish with us. Many fish will appear very close to the boat, and quick, accurate casts are often more valuable than long ones that require multiple false casts.
